Why do you deserve JrMod status? What sets you apart from the other players and would make you a good part of the staff?:


I have applied for this rank a couple of times in the past be it Guide or JrMod and have been unsuccessful, however these were long before my period of inactivity and I have now been back quite a long time and I think that I have changed a fair bit (and I'm sure others will agree). So I'd like to start completely afresh with this application, Why do I deserve JrMod? 

I have played on Oasis many years now with only one period of inactivity and I have had a great time, but none of it would have been possible without the oasis staff. I would to become a member of the staff so that I too can help others and make their time on the server enjoyable, I love helping people and always have done. Becoming a member of the staff team would mean I could help with even more issues.

I am trustworthy, I know everyone says it, but I feel like its an important aspect, I have been trusted with many things on the server in the past and hope that I have never broken that trust. I also am Veteran rank, and while many people think its a 'popularity contest' I honor my rank and know that I must have been at least partially trusted to get it as I was trusted with /item  and also when I first got veteran /tp which is a command that is easy to abuse without care.

I am mature, I've grown up a lot since I first joined oasis, and while 17 is certainly not the most mature age ever I feel that I can be mature about things and take things seriously. I understand when enough is enough and don't ever take things too far.

I have experience, while I know this is not needed and probably isn't important I have in the past used lots of server commands on a little server I used to run so I understand how to be safe with things and not blow up the server. Also I understand how being staff differs from being a player, priorities are different, but like I previously said, I like helping people, if someone needs help you can be sure I'll be there! In fact the only project I really have myself at the moment is Wave Survival so that leaves most of my time open.

I am honest, I can't think of an example offhand where being honest is specifically important to being a staff member but it definitely goes side by side with trust in my books.

I know Oasis well, while this is a weird one, I have been on Oasis a long time now and I understand how the server operates, I've seen and watched many staff members past and present as well as seeing how they handle situations. I understand the role of the staff and I know that its something I would love doing.

I don't really know what else to say, I would just love to be able to join the Oasis staffing team, its been my ambition since I was a guest and I saw the staff flying around helping everyone. I really hope you consider me :)
