Im guessing "Staffwhoisbeingtestedtoseehowwelltheydoatbeingstaff" Is too long, I like guide, on my server the equivalent is "Police", Minimod is also EPIC!

Monitor Is pretty much the same meaning as moderator IMO:

Moderator : Moderates the server (Watches Over and Apply's Rules)
Monitor : Monitors the server (Watches Over the server applying rules)

Here are some synonyms of "Monitor" that may work as well.

watchdog
adviser
overseer fallout lol

Because then there would be a 'power vacuum' of sorts.

Imagine if we added another staff rank. There would have to be people appointed to fill those ranks. And if those people weren't qualified, then there would be newly minted staff that couldn't do their job, or worse, on that messed something up by doing his/her job badly.

It would also de-value the staff rank. With another set of staff running around the chances of getting promoted to staff would increase. The larger the chance, the easier it is to get, and the faster people would get it. Instead of waiting a devoting many months to the server, people would get new ranks quickly, because older people are getting higher ranks quicker and more of the 'power vacuums' are being made.

These new staff would also require intensive training from current staff in order to be effective. This training would be difficult for staff as well as time consuming. All in all, it would be better to just rename the current staff position.

Or just keep it as Guide.

I REALLY do not want to change the name guide. Too much work and not enough to gain. We are all used to guide, no reason to change it and confuse people even more.
