If I was a staff in training, I would not want to be called Trainee. Kinda sounds lower than trusted rank.

Monitor is basically a quick descrition of what we do; we monitor the server and make sure there's no griefers. I think guide is basically the opposite of what some of us do most of the time.

I think not many servers have monitor as a rank, so we would be unique in that respect.

I don't care too much what it's called, but I don't like the idea of "Jr" anything. It makes the rank sound less than what it is. Guide isn't as much as a "staff in training" rank as it is "Seeing how well you do as staff" rank. Jr implies that there is some sort of senior to said rank, and while Mod is the next rank up, it's nothing to do with guide.

My opinion is that everything besides monitor, with the exception of vanguard, sounds like a new way to word 'Mod-'.

also, vanguard sounds like something on a Medieval RP server, which is not my 'cup-o-tea'.

Monitor sounds like what we do now, unlike guide, which is how it goes over every other suggestion in my books.

I think it's a good idea to change it. To be honest, when I first came on the server I thought that a guide was a person who gives tours of the server.
