With promotion around the corner, it's time to do some vouching.

I've been looking through the apps and there's lots of deserving members and I found it quite hard to choose,I really don't envy the staff ATM. :-P

Mhr is, in my opinion, the perfect choice for guide. To be honest, I really wouldn't be surprised if he was made Guide long ago and Ariley forgot to change his rank. He's active, a great builder and all round great and friendly guy. He greets every new member and is always keen and eager to help anyone who asks. He's been here a long time, and although I don't think older members should have any priority over newer members he's shown his dedication by staying this long. He also happens to be on a lot when. Most of the other candidates seem to be on in the even here, which means I don't know them as well, but most of the time when me and Mhr are on, there's no staff. (I'm not saying the staff aren't active, I'm just saying obviously there's gonna be gaps when one half is having lunch, and the rest are still sleeping) So yeah, I did go on a bit, but I honestly feel like Mhr is already a guide, and will fit into the staff smoothly, even if he did insult Wes' mom. :-P

i have thought about this in quite a bit of detail and come to this conclusion, and you are active friendly and definitely deserving of this. i can quite easily picture [guide]mhreynolds and you have earned my vouch :)

Dude, he has to apply himself. Although I agree that he'd make a good guide, he needs to make the application, not you.

Thank you all for the vouches and kind words, but I am not sure if I will be running for guide next elections. If I do decide to run again it will be my 5th or 6th try. I have the "qualifications" to become a member of staff, but my belief now is that my past with other staff members hinders my ability to join the Oasis staff. I do love playing on this server, and it has become like a second home to me, but I'm not sure if I can deal with the "high schoolyness" of it anymore. I'm not planning on leaving the server now, but as things past I may change my mind and slowly walk away.

Thank you all of you who vouched and gave support. I do love being on this server and I wish I could anything in my power to keep it safe and a nice place for newer players to join and have a fun time here.

I was slowly leaving because of the "" clique(s)"" I personally come on to get away from daily drama and talk with friends, but can't do that if a single person dislikes you so all that person friends dislikes you. Hence the sentence about how this server sometimes acts like a high school

Well you didn't really do a very good job on letting everyone know you were hacked...
No staff member ever got a pm or mail from you or you never let anyone know on teamspeak that your account was hacked.
And in the mean time the one who has the account now just convinced everyone that he just took "his" account back.

We were told that the account "aghastamok" was actually purchased by some dude, and that he basically had taken his account back from you, Amber, and wanted to start over as a Guest on Oasis. Of course we all thought it was suspicious, but we went with it for a little while, and whoever it was that was playing on your account was actually quite active, was a good member of the community, built cool shit, and seemed like an all-around good guy.

Also, we never heard anything from you saying otherwise. No forum posts, no PMs, nothing about your account being hacked, so we figured you had been told by this guy that he wanted his account back, and you were just okay with it.

rheynolds(dont know spelling) should be guide because they have helped me a lot in the past since i joined in october. I totally agree

It's weird to me how the word "hack" has become so convoluted! I lent the account to Amber when hers disappeared. I decided to play again and was happy to continue sharing the account, but Amber changed the password. I utilized the lost password feature on the minecraft website, (still registered to the email I bought the game with) stopped sharing the account and continued to play.
Just thought I should set the record straight.

I was under the impression that Joel loaned Amber his account as he'd gotten a bit burned out on Minecraft, at least until she got her own account. I can vouch for his ownership, as I've been crafting with him since before FrumpyB or aghastamok had ever appeared on this server. We used to be on the Unnamed Server and Kingdom of Lacertus http://www.kingdomoflacertus.com/ (I'm sure if you ask whether an aghastamok ever played there, they'd give you a definite "yes"). Now, I like both Amber and Joel, though facts are facts. And he is the indisputable owner of that account.

Also MH, I do think you are very helpful and personable and I'd be happy to see you get guide.
