^ Yea I am, it's reminding me of the old 1.7/1.8 dual map thing, it's pretty nice, AND skyblock is back which i loved back in the day

^ Well, I go back to university in about a week, and I just cannot wait to start classes and meet new people. This might be weird, but, I mean it completely non-sarcastically when I say I'm excited that I chose to commute to uni this year. I lived in a dorm my entire first year and I hated it. I've always wondered what it's like for a commuter student, and now I get to experience it.

< I really hope I don't end up regretting commuting to uni, this is about a 2 hour commute each way and I've been told multiple times that this was crazy, but I've done it before when I moved out of my dorm early last year.

\/ What do you consider to be "in walking distance?" (In other words, how far would you be willing to walk somewhere like a park or store from your home/a hotel/etc. and back)

^ I personally like walking trails (not much for biking).

^ uh, i've been done with school for a while, but i've been trying to be more social with people irl lately cuz i lack very important social skills

^ My life is sorta boring right now, so not really lol.

< You know that saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" well, yeah, I kinda just learned that the hard way. I received a notification to update some obscure thing like I think keyboard software for my computer and well. I thought, well, my keyboard is working just fine, but, how could updating the keyboard software harm my computer? So I opened up the keyboard's customization app that allows me to change keyboard colors and stuff and clicked the update button. Long story short, it broke multiple things. I reboot the computer and my network adapter has disappeared completely from my device manager so the internet stopped working. It also sorta broke the CPU cooler's temp. monitoring software and so now I can't set the fan modes or see CPU temperatures. I hope I had a restore point or something, because I'm really not sure how to fix this.

^ All that comes to mind is my stupid rage and snapping an original bulky DS in half, but I feel like maybe spilling water on my laptop and ruining my escape - f3 keys kinda counts?

< I've been listening to a lot of Jake Hill and Z lately, it's nice listening to Zack's music and realizing how much he's grown as an artist 

v I'm going to a concert next month and meeting a bunch of friends for the first time, and I'm kinda scared. Any tips to calm my nerves?

^ OOF, bit late for that concert, but best way I find to calm my nerves is to take a few deep breaths and tell myself that I am bigger than whatever scares me

- designing stickers
- deep cleaning different areas of the house
- driving around for an hour (gas is cheap rn)
- phone calls to reschedule things that are postponed due to covid
- mountain of hw

< I went from having 2 jobs and 2 classes to having 1 job with hours slashed in half, and all my classes were pushed online. Not used to having all this free time it's making me anxious l:

< This whole social distancing thing hasn't really affected my life at all, still working long hours and all my classes were online so those didn't change either. Blessed

^ Norway

< Online class is not the move. 4.0 quickly dropped to a 3.5, there go med school dreams.

^ Pretty decent. Work from home, more time with my wife and cats haha

^ I honestly dont know, i think.. oh! I remember! My previous server was a factions pvp server and i dont even like pvp so i decided to look for a new server. I found Oasis and joined it, and [Helper]xXCookiezXx (or something like that name) gave me some food and she was nice so i decided to stay!

^ i did it for a week before i quit since our marks couldn't go below what they were at mid terms, so fair to say i didnt

^ I've been noticing more people are wearing gloves around town.

haha its been so long since i was on the forums, can't believe this post is still going.

^ My soccer league started up...and then was re-cancelled.

^ I love watching baseball so that's been fun to watch when I get the chance. The Twins are killing it so far, I hope they can keep it up.

V Did quarantine limit you on what you wanted to do a lot, or did it give you more free time to enjoy the things you like doing?

^ Yes, quarantine limited me in terms of things I liked to do. Every week I looked forward to seeing my friends after a long day of classes and we would go out for karaoke or food. I guess it gave me more free time in general, though, as I moved back home with my parents and traveled 2 hours each way to attend university before classes went online.

< My computer is...acting up. Well, I mean, it kinda has been since I bought it back in 2016. Yesterday I put in a new NVMe drive, and then it didn't show up as a boot option and then 5/6 of my SATA ports stopped working. I clear the CMOS, try different cables, nope, just one SATA port working. But after clearing CMOS the NVMe showed up and works just fine. BIOS sees all drives connected to the SATA ports, but they don't show up in Windows unless connected to that one odd SATA port. The CPU temperatures are also impossibly high, reaching 90+ Celsius at 1.15v which isn't normal at all. Some fiddling with USB cables here and there and taking out all the SATA drives and temperatures are still not normal. I still need those SATA ports working, as I have 3 storage drives I need to connect. I could get a somewhat expensive PCIe to SATA adapter, I guess. But I don't know if that would work. I already checked to see if it was some weird drive letter thing and it's not. My Windows install is also sort of acting strangely. Basically, I have so many problems with the system I think I might have to see a professional because I've unfortunately run out of ideas on what I could do to fix this system.
