99 minecraft days

Not exactly what i was thinking, but yeah, go ahead and might even look better than what i was thinking.

Well here's the island so far. I made a tower with influences from the tower that Extra liked, as well as Adirem's library and bell tower. So Extra, if I may be so bold to ask, am I in the MegaProject?

Well, i'll leave this one to Adirem, he's the best of us and i think he can judge everyone with the skill he has.

(Note to Adir: if you don't want to judge it, it's okay)

I'm really sorry Adi and Extra, but my .minecraft got deleted(long story involving an annoying brother) meaning I lost these maps. Currently I'm working to re-install all my mods and texture pack (a monumental feat for me). I will then work towards an entire city done the way I did the last one.

EDIT: How do I install mods? I go into .minecraft/bin, then delete META-Inf then just drag and drop.... right?

You have to go into minecraft.jar with winrar and delete meta inf. Then unzip the mod and copy in all the .class files. Read the mod web page to double check it doesn't need anything special.

Screw that I'm waiting till 1.3. Then maybe my friend can help me. Still waiting for a reply Adirem... I want to know if I'm in the MegaProject. I won't be able to get another project started before 1.3 so this is all I can show.

I just realized what a shitty game minecraft is without mods. Or maybe I realized what a shitty computer I have. Probably the latter. I tried to play minecraft without my optifine and got about 4 fps (although if I stood still, I could get up to 7!) so there will be no new projects from me until 1.3. That is all.

As sorry to keep you waiting for a reply mate, i am not always checking every new post. but to be honest with you my friend, that tower is very good as i can tell from the pictures. You've got the feeling there Mick, good job :) I would like to see some stuff my self of course (ingame and such). That'll be sooner than later i hope.

P.s. I like this build a lot, but please do not put me in a situation where I have the last word. Feels very awkward for me. thanx :)

Anyways, it's okay with the mods thing mick, you can wait for 1.3 if you want, but a tower isn't enough, make 2 houses, one with a japanese style and another one with a medieval style and you're in.

Hang on think I got a medieval house in here somewhere... As for japanese.... that will be interesting. It will be interesting to try.

EDIT: Here's the Japanese architectural build (in minecraft vanilla). This build has really made me realize two things: How I need my mods and how I hate traditional Japanese architecture.

For some reason, playing multiplayer is better than playing singleplayer. So here's some pics of me messing around in multiplayer creative. I don't like how the back of this build came out, but whatever.


And here's one of good old Oasis. I decided to go into the End for shits and giggles to mess around with the endermen. They were not happy with me.

Oh my god.... 1.3 opens so many doors for me. There's so many possibilities with the sideways blocks. Not a big fan of the gravel redo, but hey, you can't win them all. The new blocks have given me new ideas as far as building goes, and so you will be seeing a little difference in my works. I am feeling more detail-y, especially for pillars. So many of my builds will incorporate pillars. Here's a sneak peak of the new house ideas bouncing around in the great empty space that is my mind :)

Oh yes, i forgot, Adir liked your builds, so you're in the Megaproject, congrats.

Yay me. When will I get the details?

1.3 has hit, and I love it. I started a brand new project called Terra 2.0 (Terra was my first minecraft project) and here's my first build! With absolutely no mods or texture packs, my minecraft is super slow and ugly. But that has not stopped me! I just started doing the roof because I have no ideas on how to make the little end bits.



EDIT: here's another picture I love. 1.3 has updated stars, and I love them. my build looks great next to them.

You really seem to put tons of effort into your projects, and due to that they all come out great! nice work bud!

I abandoned that last build and started a new one in a more favorable location. I got a nice little valley surrounded by mountains, with a lake in the middle. My first build here is makes good use of the sideways logs. So glad mojang added them.

I have some great texture packs that I want to show off to you guys! Texture packs are a great way to make minecraft more appealing, and I think these two do a great job. This build was built for the texture packs, so without them here's what the house looks like.

And with JohnSmith texpack, it really comes alive.

And although this is still DokuCraft 1.2.5, I still use it because it still has all the stuff, minus emeralds. So basically it doesn't affect my builds.

Also, this build isn't done just yet. I still have to make the tower, so consider this you're sneak peek.

Thats JohnSmith. It's a great texture pack, and even Jamziboy uses it.

More builds! Still using Johnsmith Texturepack, which is, in my opinion, one of the best texture packs out there. This house is definitely something different for me, with the roof design. I'm not sure I like it. Let me know if you like it, or if you have any suggestions.



Also, if you guys get bored of this, just let me know, and I'll stop posting. I don't want to bore you.

And chris, yes the pics are mine, tekkit is laggy as hell, and I asked for feedback, and you said 'I don't like that'. Why not? give me something to work off of. What do you not like, why don't you like it, and how do you suggest I do it better?
