(I know there’s no real name spot on this format anymore but I feel that it’s worth mentioning that some of you may know me as Brandyn, but I’ve recently started going by Echo instead.)

How long have you been playing on THIS server?: 7 years

How often do you plan on being on THIS server?: 4-5 days a week. For now, I can be on almost any time, once I get a job that will change, but the number of days likely won’t.

Name any JrMods, Mods, SrMods or Admins who would vouch for you: Gorecore666 and any other staff I trust will say they vouch below if they want to :D

Why do you deserve staff status? What sets you apart from the other players and would make you a good part of the staff?:

I was staff on the old Pixelmon server and SMP for I’m not actually sure how long. At least a year, collectively (since that’s what it says in my staff app last time). I don’t want to make this section completely about my previous experience as staff, but I did want to mention it.

So, what now makes me a good candidate for staff?

In general, I’ve grown up a lot since I was last super active. I’ve been looking through my old posts recently and it’s amazing how different I am now vs then. And I think with what I’ve learned through not only growing and existing as a person, but also going through college and working on teams on projects and in my internships can make me an asset to the staff team. I’ve learned how to think about things more and how to contribute to a group discussion rather than just sitting back and letting others take the lead.

Another aspect of how I’ve grown up is I’ve calmed down a lot in the past several years. I used to be very quick to pass judgment and quite rash in general. I’ve started waiting and listening a lot more. I try my best to listen when people come to me for help and I try my best no matter what the situation.

I was also a tutor for a good portion of my college time and that definitely taught me how to be patient with people. Oftentimes, there would be students that would come into my tutoring hours who hadn’t paid attention in class or had just gotten lost. Sometimes I’d be explaining something, ask if they understood, and they’d be completely lost. It can be quite frustrating but I learned from that, how to be patient and explain things in different ways.
