I am unsure of what an "IP ban" is, and I can't stop myself from wondering. Someone care to explain it?

An IP ban stops anyone from that location from getting on the server. It ensures people cant attempt to evade a ban through alternate accounts. That is, unless they use a different internet connection

Just to put it simply. Im sure someone else can give you the technical jargon
