Super Mega Buildoff! (new arena)

Hello Oasis! On Saturday Jan. 11, I will be hosting a super mega buildoff! The buildoff is being organized to celebrate the grand opening of the new buildoff arena that will open to the public on the day of the buildoff! I have been working on this for about 3 weeks now and I'm really excited to show to all of you! This new arena will have 8 spots for competitors to build on. But it doesn't stop there. To really make this buildoff special, I'm making it so that those 8 spots are filled with the best builders of the server!

Now the buildoff will last a total time of 4 hours. I want to make it clear that you will be building non-stop for 4 hours straight. So if you are going to apply please make sure you have the time to do it. The buildoff will start at 6:00 EASTERN STANDARD TIME. That is the time zone in which I live in so if you don't know which time zone you live in look it up and see what time that would be for you. Now applying for this does not guarantee you will be in it. I will choose who will be in it.

Here are the rules for applying for this buildoff.

- You have to have participated in a buildoff before and got either 2nd or 1st place.

And that's it. If you don't fit in to this and think you're up for it, post a picture of your best build and I might make an exception. Remember, I am choosing who gets to build. I know most of your building talents pretty well. I encourage you to apply even if you are not a competitive person.  I will announce the theme the day of the buildoff. I don't know of any immediate plans I will have that day, however I must ask, what if for some reason an accepted applicant can not show up for whatever reason?

Anyways, if I have the time, I would love to participate, I have won 3 buildoffs all time if memory serves me right, and currently have won 2 in a row I have participated in. The two most recent being for a fruit bowl, and a wizard tower.

What will the theme be, and does there have to be interior detail?

Chair said he would announce it the day of the buildoff, as for interior design, I would like to know too.

It's a 4 hour buildoff, of course it's going to have interior design. And if at last second if you cant come then i just replace you, or that spot just isn't taken.

1st place in at least two buildoffs (One for a library, other for a fire station) I don't remember the others as well... I think I've participated in 4 or 5 total

I will try to be on for this, hopefully I won't be nagged to death this weekend

I would like  to participate just need to find out what time in AUS QLD it is, also i'v never placed 1st or 2nd but i'v played one before i got artisan. but you know i can build so. hopefully i can still play.

I may not be the worlds best builder but i feel i am good enough for buildoff

I would like to apply to build in this competition, i don't necessarily meet the criteria of "- You have to have participated in a buildoff before and got either 2nd or 1st place." However, i would like to submit ./warp PBM as something i have constructed on this server, in opes that it is sufficient.

Well, after a day of consideration, I think its about time to do some more building on smp ;) I can't just let this architect title go to waste! So I am IN! Chair, you know me and my style and background, so see you at 6 pm EST ;)

This should definitely be really fun and I hope everyone is competitive but also just has a great time! With such great builders on oasis, it will be hard to pick a winner and in the end its about making something awesome that people will want to visit and explore :)
