I need some MAJOR assistance

Well, I need some help.

I tried to install a mod the way my friend was telling me too, and I did as he said. He happened to forget a step (Or a few) and I deleted everything and redid it. I can't find out how to uninstall it and I looked at every possible way.

The problem is, whenever I open minecraft and try to log in, I always crash within 2 seconds. I don't know how to fix this. The mod is in my config folder and whenever I try to delete it, it always appears back.

Can you guys help?

Wow, you are some type of amazing computer wiz. IT WORKED WOO! Thanks alot bro. I thought I was freakin screwed. Next time I'm watching youtube before I download mods again..
