Is the server down? Empty Is the server down?

Minecraft says that it's polling, and when I try to connect I get an "end of stream" message.

What's going on?

It's not. Try restarting your router/computer, or re-download minecraft by deleting the .jar and running minecraft again.

Already tried restarting my computer. I can't restart my router because I'm at school and it's practically impossible to restart the router without f*cking up the rest of the network. I'll see if redownloading minecraft fixes it.

Direct connecting was exactly what I did. Worked on the first shot, thankfully.
