Shops: Pricing and Wares throughout Oasis

This guide is officially defunct until at least 1.8 update and a revamped economy.


This is a friendly Price and Wares guide for known shops across the Oasis server. It will be updated regularly and as accurately as possible. Be it known, though, that, as it does not update itself, this guide may not always be automatically correct. I will try as best as possible to keep my own opinion out of this guide and, if still possible, provide information and tips that I consider helpful. Any suggestions you have, please leave here and I will attempt to incorporate them as possible and reasonable.

Remember, I do not choose the prices, but rather, I list the averages of the prices already provided. This guide is for those new to shops/pricing or anyone wanting to gain a competitive edge in Oasis' now thriving economy. For instance, you'll note that some items are not even being sold, or are severely overpriced; it is up to you to decide what you do with the information.

Also, remember to always follow the server rules for shops and selling:

Section VII. Selling Items

Any player may sell items at any price they wish, as long as the buyer agrees to the price, and the items are not spawned with /item or /kit. The items must be gathered legitimately. Be warned, however, that a set price exists for some rare/unobtainable items, and that players may buy these items from staff if you try and sell them at a higher price.

a. Players will not be able to own more than one store at a time. Each store is limited to only two owners at one time.
Players will not be allowed to own a store that sells more than one kind of item at a time. The only exceptions to this rule is if you're selling items that are really close to each other, such as: A bakery can sell cake, bread, wheat. A tool store that sells pickaxes, swords, axes, hoes. A armour store that sells Platebodys, Legs, ect. If you want to build a store and you are either unsure or feel that it might not be allowed, ask a staff member. Staff reserves the right to close down a store when they feel that it is in violation of the above rules.
(This means no more Mega-Mart, O-Warehouse, or any other stores like these.)

Actually that no mega shop rule has since been discontinued. It just hasn't been removed from the written rules. So megaMarts are just fine :D.

Thanks InvertPanda, I really did want to give back to the server. On top of this, I donated as well! You should see the spreadsheet of prices/wares/shops/etc I have. It took me several hours to collect all the information and put it into a useable form so that I can place it here for everyone.

Again, thanks to y'all! I just want us all to be as well-off as possible!

Hopefully things won't change too much from now, because some items are so cheap now.

Also, will make life a little easier for everyone, as this guide would always be current prices. However I don't think this will happen, I think prices will go even lower. :(

Thanks Dyna. I update it at least once a day, sometimes more depending on the amount of shops opening vs. how many new shops I can find. It can take a long time to update sometimes.

I think that prices will go down for a while, as competition ramps up. Once people realize that everyone's running out of stock quickly though, prices will start to go back up. Basic economics.

Seriously more then once aday? must spend most of your in-game time running around from shop to shop lol.

Yeah, I spent a good 1.5 hours today, and when I moved all the information from a measly piece of paper into the spreadsheet, it took me 2 hours to do the data entry. When I do update everyday, it takes anywhere from 30min to 2hours before I just say screw it and go back to playing.

Ooh, new shops and lower selling prices, not to mention some better buying prices. What a boon!

You should start a sticky thread where players post a reply for their shop, and edit that reply when their prices change. This way you can update averages, highs and lows without having to walk everywhere. People who are serious about their shops will have incentive to update their posts.

Except he wont be here to do that after the 11th.
