How long have you been playing on THIS server?: 6 years

How often do you plan on being on THIS server?: This is my only server.

A lot more than I used to be. Was in a rough spot, no computer for a bit, rather depressed.
Things have gotten to be ok. This I think is the point where I might give the established mods pause. If you want to hold off with this to see if I maintain my attendance, it would be perfectly reasonable and I would understand.

Name any JrMods, Mods, or Admins who would vouch for you:

I presume nothing. I can be liked without being thought of as staff material.
Health Magazine and disasterpickachu both reacted favorably when I asked them about staff time and training requirements.

Why do you deserve to be part of the Oasis Staff team?

I don't feel I "deserve" staff, but I would like to try to give back more to a brilliant server.
Aeryn is encouraging me to apply and very supportive, and I would be honored to take a position of responsibility .

What sets you apart from the other players and would make you a good part of the staff?:

I've moderated in other games for groups while I was in Second Life, handling griefers and helping folks out was a good feeling for me, and I did it well.

I was the headmaster of a military group for cadets aged 12-18, not as screamy harsh as it sounds ask me about Civil Air Patrol sometimes. I like working with younger folks. Also very aware that most of them know the game better than I.
I work in a dementia unit, with folks who are irrational, confused, and sometimes combative.
That requires an infinite amount of patience.

I'd love to host monthly build offs. Plus I would love to learn more about the back end of the game.
I get very frustrated and always have when there have been problems while I'm on and I can't help.
