Boewee's Introduction

Today marks my one year anniversary on Oasis!
"Time flies when you're having fun" they say.. Time does fly; on a spacecraft!
Man did this year go by quickly! And in all this time I have never properly introduced myself.
Blasphemy! I know. So with this post I'd like to fix that!

Hoi! My name is Cor. (You may call me C.J.) But you know me as Boewee.
As of April this year I am twenty years old. I'm not a teenager anymore! :(
Although I will forever be a 16 year old by heart. (2012 was such a good year.. I want to go back!)

As you can see I'm from Volendam, The Netherlands. But I actually have a lot of family from Croatia! My dads parents and many siblings live in Split Croatia.
Because of this I can speak 3 languages! I can speak Dutch, English and Hrvatski(croatian).

I'm currently in my second year of college. I'm studying Computer Science.
It's difficult but super interesting and fun!
I have never been very good at school. Always on the verge of failing.
But I pull myself through by working hard.

I dislike sports! I have never been a sportsman.
I have tried many sports. Football, Basketball, Voleyball, Batminton...
Alas, all to no avail. The only sport that I did like and in fact practiced for multiple years was swimming. I could swim pretty fast! But the swimming instructors would always be furious at me! Whenever we had to race, I would be so focussed on going fast that I did not bother on using any swimming "technique". I would flail with me arms and kick with me legs to go faster instead! xD

Gaming is my biggest hobby. I have been gaming since forever!
My earliest memories are of 3 year old me playing games like "PutPut: Saves The Zoo" and "The Lion King". A few years later my parents got me a GameBoy and Pokemon! That day a gamer was born. On April 28, 2005 the MMORPG Guild Wars was released. 9 year old me played that game from day one. I learned how to speak English by playing that game!
Today I am an allround gamer. I play a variety of games on different consoles. (PC, Xbox One and 3DS) I'm super excited to play Pokemon Sun as it releases here in two days!

Appart from gaming I just recently started playing the piano! Untill now I have been mostly teaching myself through various tutorials on the internet, but I intend to find myself a good teacher and follow proper piano lessons in the near future.

So yeah, that's me!
Man this introduction ended up being much longer than I anticipated.
I hope you enjoyed reading my story as much as I did writing it!
I hope to be able to play on Oasis for many more years and become part of the servers amazing community!
