How long have you been playing on THIS server?: I joined the server in December 2010, the forums in February 2011, and I played very actively for about 2 years until I quit minecraft for a host of personal reasons. Since then I have had several spans where I played pretty actively for a month or two, including when I started playing again a few weeks ago

How often do you plan on being on THIS server?: I should be very active over the summer and then I hope to continue to be pretty active once the academic year starts up again.

Name any JrMods, Mods, or Admins who would vouch for you: I'll let them vouch themselves, I don't like asking people for vouches.

Why do you deserve JrMod status? What sets you apart from the other players and would make you a good part of the staff?:

I was a staff member on this server for quite awhile a long time ago. I considered myself fairly mature and level-headed then, but now I have an additional 4-5 years of life experience on top of that. Looking back I wasn't quite as level-headed as I thought I was, but even then I considered myself a pretty good staff member. 

Since that time I've been involved in countless group projects and held multiple (extraordinarily stressful) leadership positions within fairly large student organizations at my university, and as a result I work extremely well alongside other people. As one of the oldest players on the server (in terms of playing time, although probably also above the median in terms of age) I think that I can bring another "level head" and a great amount of maturity to a staff team that already embodies those traits. 

Most importantly, since I've started to play here again, I have found that I still love this server and the community that it has. I want to do my best to help that community prosper by creating a fun and safe atmosphere for everyone to play minecraft together in, alongside the other staff.

You retired staff are all the same. You come back for a month or two then fade away. You've even done it once before. I'd like my future staff members to actually keep being staff, instead of retiring as soon as they get the rank.

Says the player that gets on how often now? I've seen dtfgator been getting on regularly here lately. And not all retired staff are the same. LordTomenon was staff for a year, left for 6 months or so, and has been back and active, and is now a Mod. LemonadeLlamas has retired twice, and he's been back for a long while now.

I could easily go through the list of retired staff and find at least 10 more that dont fit your stereotype. And this is people that are currently retired.

Everyone has their reasons and a real life to live. And he did go a few months before retiring

I vouch. There's obviously that activity concern, but I certainly am in no place to call out somebody's activity. I do have a concern about how long you've been playing. I know length isn't all of what it's about, but I don't feel you've been on Oasis long enough to be a great staff. Imho we need some older players to promote as staff first.
