Why do you deserve Guide Rank?: Let's start this fresh. It's October. The start of my 9th month on the server. (I did the math wrong in the past counting January like an idiot xD). I am no longer running for Veteran because of past events and am running for guide. Let's see here... There are many reasons anyone would want to be a guide; Here are some.

- Power <-- usually leads to bad staff. Staff that want a rank for power are likely to abuse their power.
- Respect <-- Staff that want respect don't often disagree with anyone and without disagreement and debate, things never change.
- To just be a higher rank <-- Usually slack off and push aside their duties to someone else.

None of the above reasons are any good if you want someone to be a staff rank. Responsibility and the act of helping others should be the only thing at mind. An ideal staff member is strong willed; respects others opinions but takes every opportunity to defend his own, given the right circumstances, Helpful; Always stops his own projects to help someone with whatever they would need and finally, Professional; acts on facts and rules rather than impulse or emotions..

Although nobody is perfect in the areas I believe that there are some people on the server that are pretty close. A player should not be based on play time. Everyone should be treated as people, minecrafters, instead of ranks and titles. Admins are no different then members in the fact that, yes they have certain abilities keeping them apart, but they are still people. Just because you joined when the server was new and fresh with barely anyone, doesn't mean that you should be a higher rank than everyone else. It should be about the quality of the person and the characteristics that they show; That is what an ideal system would be. I'm not staff though, I don't know the system. Maybe it is the ideal one, maybe it's different, I don't really care unless I can change it for the better.

I know i'm not what I used to be in minecraft. Normally I'd go around helping people to the best of my abilities and playing as much as I can but frankly, I have other things to do. Minecraft isn't my life anymore (It used to be the only game I'd ever play xD) although, I still like to go on and talk to people, make their lives a little bit happier. If someone has something wrong, I'll ask. Then I'll try to fix it to the best of my abilities. If there's a griefed house that I see, I'll fix it up if their's no admins or staff on to do it.

Honestly, I don't like building things. I'm no good at it. That's probably why you don't see my building houses or statues or anything. If you want someone like that, look at leagle.. He has the coolest buildings i've ever seen on minecraft! The point of the matter is, I may not be the best qualified or the one online the most, but that won't stop me from giving it my all and helping people until I can't anymore.
