Leagle's Retirement

As you can see from the title... I am retiring from my rank on Oasis.

After more then 3½ years of joy and laughter, hatred and fights, friendship and magic *tip*, it's time to go. I've lost my interest in Minecraft.

I want to thank all the player of the community and staff for giving me great memories of this game, server, and community.

A special thanks to Mike, Norm, Kyle, Abdo, Floris, JonChen, Peter, and Mary.
Mike; It was great to see you transform from newbie staff, to the proud Server Owner you are today. Good luck with Oasis, and hope many years to come.
Norm; Your humour will never grow old. Oasis will always be safe with you around. Same goes for you. Good luck with Oasis, and hope many years to come.
Kyle; Your stories always motivated me and always made me want to hear more. Keep on busting the bad people on Oasis and keep the streets clean. Sheriff.
Abdo; Never thought I would meet someone on Oasis who could teach me and exchange so much information with. I hope we can meet someday irl. Godspeed.
Floris; Despite me always talking shit or just trying to make him look bad (tehee). He's been one of my best friends and I wouldn't want it to change. Without Floris, i would have never found Oasis or even play Minecraft. Thanks for letting me use your account and find Oasis!
JonChen, Peter, Mary; These friends have made Minecraft alot more enjoyable from start to finish. Without these people, i would have never made it this far. Even though not all of them are active anymore, Thank you for the great times!

Truth is, i have been planning this for a long time now. But I didn't want to leave just like that. There had to be someone to take my place. It didn't take long to find the right person of course. After multiple attempts to persuade the rest of the other men upstairs, it happened. And I am happy to leave Oasis in the hands of the unique snowflake of the community. Good luck to you Lina!


I might pop up in-game somewhere in the future. I doubt this will be soon though.

You were the only staff left from when I joined, this is a truly sad day indeed. :(

You've always been there for me and the server; out of all the retirements this has hit the hardest. Thank you for all your hard work and the fantastic times, hope you have fun on your next journey. :)

  I'm very sad to see you go Leagle, I wish you well in all your endeavors. I still remember when you gave me the opportunity to fight 3 withers in an arena (after fighting a horde of zombie pigmen and giant slimes)! That has been one of my favorite Oasis memories to date, and you made that happen, for which I am grateful. You've been a great staff member, good luck to you! I hope I see you around sometime in the future.

Leagle, it has been an honor serving under you and with you! You were a great inspiration for me when I was climbing up the staff ranks. You've helped mould me into the owner I am now. I owe a lot to you.

All i can really say is good luck. You were a really good player and indeed a friend of us all. We will miss you and krazo both a lot. Oasis will never be the same without you two. Its sad your leaving us but there is nothing we can do to stop you and i will always respect your choice.  

Indeed lina has some massive shoes to fill but theres nothing lina has not been able to handle

Wow, this is unexpected. Never really knew you personally, but you were a ton of fun to be playing under and with. You did a wonderful job as staff. You were an inspiration for me. You will never be forgotten.

Leagle, in all the time I have spent on Oasis, the one constant was probably knowing that you were on the staff team.  Your dedication to this server is incredible and I thank you for all of the years (can you believe it) that you actively made Oasis a terrific community.  You'll be missed, but I think that you could not have chosen anyone better to take your place.

l-leagle senpai if I c-could say my appreciation and ily with a leaf pun, I would do it. Sadly, I can't even think right now. ;n;

I always did like you Leagle. You are a respectful person and I'll always remember the inspiration you gave me to build, like that mansion you made with jonchen. Seeing how i'll probably never get to talk to you again, goodbye old friend.

To have our beloved staff team lose a few members is quite unpleasant, to say the least.  Wish you luck, old chap! I do believe you have earned the title of gentleman and scholar!

If we were the Empire, that's how much we just lost.
