iConomy and You

iConomy is the plugin that runs all of the economy that you can find in Oasis. Whether its shops, admin-shops, or player to player funding iConomy is the running force that keeps it going. I would like to use this topic to address any questions about the iConomy and/or the economy on Oasis.

Let me start by explaining how to use iConomy and its features.

MONEY

Money is the currency for all transactions found in Oasis. With money you can purchase from shops and pay players for work/items.

You can check your current balance with /money

Player to Player Transfers

Player to Player Transfers are a way to exchange funds for services when shops are not available or valid for these transactions.

To transfer funds use /money pay playername # {money amount}

Chest Shops

Chest Shops are a shop that is made of a chest (single, double, normal, and/or trapped) and a sign directly above it. They are made when the sign is placed above a chest and the following format is typed in....

Line 1: yourname (optional)
Line 2:      #       {how many items sold in each transaction}     
Line 3:  # B:S #  {how much its being bought/sold for} (you can remove one if needed)
Line 4:   itemid

...upon finishing the sign you should receive the `shop successfully created` message. Items will be sold/bought from the chest directly below the shop's sign

If you don't know the itemid for a particular item use /iteminfo while the item in question is in your hand.

You can also buy/sell from other player's shops by left clicking (sell) and right clicking (buy) the shop sign.
