- Wave Survival Timeline:
Wave Survival Alpha Concept created by Kevo235 on the forums
Sign-ups opened
Revilo410, Pyropanda5, Kevo235 and Intengent formed the first ever WS team.
Croky1, Nighthound17 and Keshaluver21 are added to the team
First ever game of Wave Survival Alpha runs, players are tp'd into an arena with a few spawners around the edge, linked to a redstone clock to keep them spawning. First map was apocalypse.
Revilo410 sets up warp area so that players dont have to be tp'd in, the first formal cage to drop players into the arena was developed.
Kevo235 resigns as owner of Wave Survival Alpha, Revilo410 appointed as new owner
After the second game of Wave Survival Alpha Revilo410 creates the final concept of "Wave Survival" and creates plans for improving all the previous aspects. New warp area and arena developed to cater for the new "Wave Survival, or WS" instead of Wave Survival Alpha.
New staff are appointed to the WS team - Louis457, MarcoTheGod and jackOPSftw
A ranking system is developed for the team as a result of a new team member breaking an important system, it is used to make sure that only people that have been fully trained in certain aspects do certain jobs. This first ranking system was:
Builder>Architect>Admin>Co-Owner>Owner
Kevo235 appoints Keshaluver21, Intengent and Pyropanda5 as Co-Owners
As some team members leave, more are appointed in a new big wave: Maarten1708, Zwall99, XboxFantic, Mickdude2, Cmanrocks2012 and Nsuth13
Formation of the first Oasis Mini-game Association in coalition with the "Grief House" Team
As more older people such as Keshaluver, Pyropanda, Intengent and a few others leave the team Revilo410 appoints MarcoTheGod as the new Co-Owner of the team, some new members are also added: Mindcrafter3033, MadKeenMatt, Bober_Rus, ThomasSiemons, Surv1v0r08, fast81008
After over 2 years on Oasis SMP, Revilo410 leaves the server for a break. He retires to a rank of Director and appoints Bober_Rus as the working owner, Maarten1708 replaces MarcoTheGod as Co-Owner. The current ranking system went:
Director>Owner>Co-Owner>Admin>Architect>Builder
"The great depression" - Bober_Rus leaves the server, no new owner is appointed, Maarten1708 tries to keep the game going but Wave Survival dies out and the team collapses.
Revilo410 announces return to the server after about 6 months of inactivity. He is contacted by Maarten1708 to reform WS with Dr_Crazy_CPU (OasisMaximus) and Gorecore666
Wave Survival re-established for 1.8
Apocalyptic theme adopted to boost popularity to the new player base
First map is also apocalypse
WS begins to pick up a lot of momentum again, popularity increases hugely
More WS Staff appointed: OsgaTharp and Wiiktor
Wave Survival Spleef is developed by Revilo410
Wave Survival moved to the Owner Games world. [WaveSurvival] rank developed to give WS team members access to creative mode in the WS complex.
WS Race is developed by Revilo410
New spawning system developed by OasisMaximus
WS Race is scrapped and replaced by Escape WS, developed by Revilo410
WS Training area developed
retkojy, LordTomenon and Fithboy join the team. New Ranking system developed as the team grows:
WS Team Member > WS Manager > Director
Re-Establishment of the Oasis Mini-Game association incorporating WS, GH, RH and Spleef
Development of a "New Era Of WS" begins
Espartemos joins the team, Revilo410 scraps ranking system in favor of a team based system, there are 2 teams, the design team and the operations team. The Design Team is responsible for building the arenas and warp areas, whereas the Control Team is responsible for making sure everything works and the items are all balanced.
1 New Slot on the team opens... So we decide to add 3 people (Logic right?), welcoming Mickdude2 back to the team after years of not being a member, and also welcoming Bain and AlvinB to the team for the first time.

Um, why is MarcoTheGod a co-director when he is hardly ever on (Not meaning to be mean but seriously). Like I haven't seen him on for around a month or so, with him in that spot I don't think WS is going to progress much. Also Revilo come on more! :P

1. He is a very responsible person IMO and was one of the earlier staff of WS, hes helped me out a lot with it, and his computer is currently broken which is why he hasnt been on much.
2. WS is making perfectly good progress atm
3. Im on everyday for around 2 hours at the least

Imma resign from WS since I never do anything. If you need help with mob eggs, i'll still help and whatever, but I feel giving my spot for someone else is probably the thing to do in this situation.

WS is a mini-game, that has a big arena were that staff of WS build in and there spawners every were, I think you win by being the last to survive.

Wave Survival is a mini-game played on oasis since 1.2.5
The aim of the game is to survive against mobs for the longest of all the players who take part. The game is played in an arena which changes theme each (about every) fortnight. The WS staff control the game and build the arena. The mobs are fired from dispensers around the walls. Last person standing wins.
