playing around with a new style

so i was playing an mmo, not exactly a good one i guess, but ive been playing it since i was 9-10 and i realized how great the buildings were. they were medieval-ish buildings with shingles and had METRIC SHIT TONS OF DETAIL compared to most minecraft buildings I've seen walking around on some servers, so I'm going to be playing around with the bits and features that I've taken up from this style and add on to my own style

Looks amazing man.
But one thing I would do would be to change that little patio to dark wood slabs, it'd seem to go with that darker theme better.

- Spoiler:
1st, basic wooden construction: I like to do these first because they look cool and can be left as it is near edges of towns to show that it is developing, and it adds a little diverse touch to the entire thing
2nd, i add other woods and fill in walls:
3rd, add roofing and greens: this brings life and adds character to the building
4th, do interiors: some people think that stuff like this isn't very important. when you think about it, it really is, especially at night, when you see a glow coming from the building.

I think it would be neat to add some gardens/ponds. That always strikes me as "rich"
