Ban Appeal for itHINk420, the nicest guy ever.

Hey there,

Minecraft username: itHINk420

Mod/Admin who banned you: not quite sure, login screen says "The Ban Hammer has spoken" which I find really clever, but kind of a bummer for me :(

Reason you were banned: I had a "minimap" mod I was using on single-player that I forgot to turn off when I came onto the server.

Reason you believe you should be unbanned:
1) I never used it on the server, you can look at my house and chests, I dont have millions of diamonds, I was kicked off before I even realized it was up.
2) I just started playing @ Oasis SMP and I absolutely LOVE it! In the first few nights on your server I went mining with minerIE, shared the spoils of our mine. Also made a really awesome treehouse, that is completely invisible from the outside with a sneaky vine entrance. I showed it to TaccyPoo, he seemed to like it although he thought someone might chop it down lol..
3) I promise never to log in with a mod again, it was a complete accident and I never even got a warning, which would have made me stop completely. I have also NEVER griefed, i think it's extremely uncooth and always report anyone I see griefing.

Now that I think about it I realize I removed the minimap yesterday to play online, so i'm really not sure why I was banned. I also don't have a conviction on file so would really just like to know the reason. Thanks!

What minimap were you using? I have been told Rei's is okay to use. The rules may differ for ranks, though.

I'll be asking the other staff about this. I have my suspicions of who banned you.

Not sure what it's called, just a simple minimap, but it's not even loaded at the moment cause I wasn't sure about online play. I just started playing online after months of playing SP and was really pumped to find a friendly, awesome server. Hope we can figure out why I was banned and what happened! :(

Minimaps ARE allowed, as long as they are client sided. I haven't really seen any others, though.

It WOULD if you were sure that is why you were banned, which you aren't. We'll need to find out who banned you.

1. I see no convicted players thread
2. client side minimaps are legal like InitialBN

This doesn't seem right for someone to be banned for a minimap since its general knowledge for all staff that they legal, I will also look into this since it seem we may have a failure to communicate with the forums and whom ever banned you.

Application name is sketchy. Who calls themselves the nicest player ever these days? Anyways, seems like a legit appeal so I won't complain.

I can vouch for his niceness, he was a great member.
