People are being.... people

Ok recently, someone thought it would be funny to impersonate Notch just to say hello. It was funny, at first. then people started using it to order others around, or annoy people. Recently PPolanco impersonated me and told everyone i suck dick(as a clarification, I do not). The staff cannot do much against this, other than temp ban or tell them to stop- which they dont. the biggest offender is PPolanco, but Kevo was doing it as well(only less annoying) and Fuzzyplats started it(back when it was funny)

Anything you could do would be appreciated.

I've never really understood why this was funny in the first place, but I'll keep a closer eye on it. Impersonating others and saying harmful things to 'themselves' should not be acceptable.

They just open the chat, then first type a dot "."
then you need the right amount of spaces like 50 or something idk,
just enough to get to a new line.
then just type the persons name you want to impersonate
and the the : after that + The message.

Notch: hi i liek pony.

And justin, it's in-game on the server.

Ah I see, not really "Impersonating" but just a clever trick.
This seems like it could be as annoying as the "mass message" or the fake message trick.

I've seen this happening as well. It's mainly done to guest because they are white and have no rank. I've seen pyro do it sometimes, and I told him to stop but I don't even know if he listened to me.... I've seen lcf do it too, and I see why it would be easy and "Funny" to do it when it's acctually retarded. I'd say we should put up a rule about that, because you can do it to anyone if you really think about.. Just do like

It's really annoying too, because I've seen Ali be abused by it the most, but I haven't seen really anyone else. I'm not saying that it's not happening to other players, but i'm just saying what I see.

The impersonating trick only works for 'death' messages, and guests, as mickdude was saying.

They were doing like:
[Playerx]: LAWL
mickdude2: I suck dick.

Ah, so it's that kind of impersonation. Ok, I can understand why that would get annoying.

They impersonate by putting a period to begin the message, then enough spaces so it goes to the next line and putting a guest name.

OK if something will be done I'm happy. I like the rule thing, but what would the punishment be? Just wondering aloud........
