The New Game on Oasis.

Me and Dyna were discussing about a new game i had in my mind.

First of all, it's a competitive game.

It's very unusual. It's a building game. People are split into teams, 4 to be exactly.

The game happens in an arena, this arena is split in 4 20x20 blocks.

Inside this colored boxes (Color corresponding to each team) there are 4 chests, inside the chests, there are blocks and items.

We give 30mins+ to all players to finish, after all people finish, the judges will select the best building/architeture/statue/whateverthatis.

The 1ºst Team will gain 1000 Coins Or Something with value.
The 2nd Team gains 500 coins or something with value
The 3rd Team gains 100 coins or something with value
The 4rd Team gains 4 dirt blocks.

The rules are simple:

-Can't bring any items
-Can't destroy other people things
-Can't trespass your block
-Can't spawn items while playing
-No flying mode
-Quitting the game will resume on your team to lose
-Build what the judges tell you to do
-Do not use any staff plugin/World edit while the players are in the arena/while you're playing.
-Do not build penises/vaginas/tits or sexual references
-Stay with your team
-Do not harm any building/person
-The itens that are given to the builders in-game must not be spawned
-The game happens every week/2 weeks (To be decided)
-You must pay a fee to play the game (50 coins)

Discuss, if you like the idea reply, and please, DO NOT SAY THAT IS SIMILAR TO WEEKLY GRIEF (Or maybe it is. Whatever, say it if you want.)

I like this idea. Cierte had a very similar one last map, his idea just never came to be. Maybe it will work out better this time.

I like the idea, but is it possible to make the game arena a place where you cannot die? Just a though to make it easier, unless you respawn in the arena. Kind of like godmode only enabled in the arena.

You wouldn't die, if you do, there are people that tp you back and under the arena, there's a softy water to jump in.

Well, maybe then people wouldn't be influenciated to play the game. Bitches loves prizes (I'm not calling people bitches, okay? Im Js <3)

Yeah, but 4000 coins for 20 minutes of building? Maybe a couple hundred.

Sounds amazing but i think the the entry fee should cost a lot more. If it costs more it might add up to the prizes. So if each team pays 400 coins (100 coins per team member. If it is 4 teams of 4 members) thatll already be 1600 coins in total to split up for prize money. And perhaps a larger area to build?

I like the idea a lot actually, and it's definitely something we can implement on the next map.

However, I'm agreeing with lowering the prize money. 4000 coins is a hell of a lot. I think it should be made so that the entry fee equals out to be prizes so say if it were 100 coins each to make it easier. That would create a prize pool of 1600 bucks, say first place got 300 coins per member that would add up to 1200. The second place team could get their entry fee back or something. I dunno, all I think is handing out 4000 coins is a lot for half an hour of building.

I absolutely LOVE this idea. Can this happen right now, please?!

sweet idea, but the concept needs to be worked on a little bit in my oppinion! just keep tweeking a little bit and you'll have a great game added to the server.

p.s. tell me if you need an arena for it ;) would love to get my hands dirty on something like that

It's tweaked alot, first of all, i wanted to make a buiilding concept, where the best buildings in the server are chosen, but the idea wasn't very good, and bad things would happen if we stayed like that, if you want to give any more ideas, i will improve the game.

Getting the idea back, maybe next map huh?

Still, any improvements you want to give me, fell free to ask, i don't bite. (Or do i? FUCK I'M A MONSTER. HELP ME PLEASE, I DON'T LIKE BEING A WEREWOLF. Oh, but if so, i can do some furry.... No, seriously, why are you reading this.
