LWC wall sign glitch

I recently discovered a bit of a glitch concerning wall signs. This gets annoying and I would like to know if its all LWC's fault or if its a conflicting mod. I made a video for you showing it (I did not use Fraps)

its because when you hit the sign it thinks your breaking it so it gets rid of the protection, like if you were breaking a chest yu had protected.

The sign unlocks when I hit the sugar cane not the sign.

no i think your hitting the sign though the sugar can, try to hit the sugar cane from the side, so the sign is not behind it

I am a hundred percent sure Walshie. I did not hit the sign from behind, Also, you have to hold down the mouse button for a sign to break, you cannot it an object through another object, plus, theres a fence separating the sign and the sugar cane. When I hit it in the opposite direction, it does the same thing anyway. In any direction it does it. Check your logic please.
