Yo, here's a pretty good short video tutorial on how to get back to 1.6, so that you can play on Oasis SMP. As far as I know, the download link works ATM. Let me know if this breaks.

FUCK. it wont work and now my minecraft wont even come up. this is fucked up. my mc will load and then be a Candy-Ass and update it AGAIN. now i got the better launcher and well now i cant log in can someone send me the correct file for whatever update? PLEASE?

Leagle and I are working on trying to find something good that works for everyone. So far the links we've posted are a little sketchy, in terms of how often they actually come through. So just check on the forums throughout the day, and we'll try and have something up.

Try this?: (not sure if you have yet)

1. Run Minecraft 1.7 (if you already updated, if not then why the hell are you reading this?)
2. On the updates page, find the heading Minecraft 1.6.6 and click it.


There should be a place to download that version.

Some one could just upload their bin folder and people could use that, but it would have to be a bin with out many mods in it unless you want everyone else to get those mods too.

In case you didn't get what to do, go to .minecraft and swap the bin out for the downloaded one.
