How often do you plan on being on THIS server?: Every night when i play minecraft, it'll only be here.

Why do you deserve Guide status? What sets you apart from the other players and would make you a good part of the staff?: I really want to be able to really help out in the server. As only a member, I can't do much. I think that the server is great and needs to be kept great. When I was a newly spawned noob, i floated from server to server, and never really stuck with one. I found Oasis SMP, with it's awesome forums and helpful staff, and have been sticking to it ever since. I mean, any other server I played, i'll scream in the chatboxes, HELP ME IM STUCK! Or, HOW GET COINS?!? but no one would help poor noob ironmugg, and he wallowed in his noobish ways. I've helped a lot even as a member. I worked at the stone shop with MrVegeta400, and even if no one was at the stone shop, I would stay for hours and wait for the rare customer. I found a lost miner, and asked if he needed help. I gave a friend a stack of torches, and I recently trusted some random guy who i found lost enough to let him live in my house. I would never murder or steal, and only want to make the server better than it already is, which will be hard. Please Vouch and approve.

Why does everybody lie about how long they have been on the server?

Iron I wouldn't apply for Guide for these reasons:

1. You haven't been on Oasis for very long.

2. I feel other people deserve Guide more than you.

Sorry iron, but i have to agree with iHosepHi here, people know you haven't been on Oasis very long given that you have an whitelist application, Here

If you had been on 3 or 4 months, you wouldn't even have one, as whitelist hasn't been around that long. you have been on oasis 3-4 weeks (but that is some typo)

I honestly didn't know you could look at a join date, so that as an estimate. With the mr. vegeta thing, on most apps it says trusted, veteran, and then mod and admin. It was an honest mistake, and I would be honored if you would vouch for me after I edit the app.

I DIDNT MEAN TO LIE. I didn't know you could see a join date, and I haven't been keeping track of my time on the server. I'm sorry, and am fixing it.

To everyone reading this. I didn't realize that guide was actually better than Vet, so i am applying for that and ignoring this topic. I'll try to have a more accurate app.

A lot of people think this, but you don't need vet to apply for guide.

vet is basically everything except fly mod.
guide is the first step of staff

Vet is chosen by vote and by the players
where guide is chosen by the staff

I know right! No one seems to know that. I am, however, applying for vet before I try at guide, so I probably won't respond to anything else posted here.

Who can vouch for you depends on the position you are applying for. Usually, we only want people of the rank you are trying to get or above to vouch.

if anyone wants to check out my vet app, its ironmugg's veteran application. The reason to become vet is the same as guide, but I changed the app to fit vet format. I also fixed my accidental false join date.

if you want to vouch here, still, you can. this has much more attention than my vet app. Lol, no one probably wants to vouch me.

i just want more ability to help out than i do at member

He signed up for the forums on the 16th. It is now the 15th of June. That's pretty much a month guys.

I have no problems when I vouch for Ironmugg.. He has met the minimum requirements of Veteran (be on the server at least 18 days) and he is very active on not only the forums, but also on Oasis as well. He reminds me of myself back in the day so I have to vouch for him. At least he doesn't lie about how long he's been on the server. You guys should be ashamed of yourself for wrongly accusing him without evidence.

Being here for a long time doesn't make you a veteran (look at me) but apparently it helps. I however say that out of all of you and me included, he is one of the worthiest.

He changed the date on his application Kevo, it used to say three months. The forum was blessed with an Edit tool for just such an eventuality. Jesus.

lol i didn't even think vegeta would vouch, he's just the only one i remotely know, so I left his name there.

This is why the join date should be the day you join the forums, much easier.

Hey, I didn't lie on the join date, i made a mistake. I also didn't actually write down vegeta, that was from the app I copied for the format. I didn't know there was a topic for the format. I fixed the join date, to, and now it's been a month. Excuse me for writing a month ONE day before it's been a month.

I would love any vouch. A No Vouch is disappointing, but of course I'll keep trying, and keep playing on oasis. I know I haven't been here nearly as long as any of you guys, but like Kevo says, I'm active on oasis and the forums all the time. I will never change servers, cause Oasis rules!!! And if I don't get guide this time, I'll try again later. I should've more thoroughly proofread the app, but everything on it is fixed, and I just want guide so I can be more recognized, and be more looked towards for help.
