Reason you were banned:
I'm really not sure. I went to a sleepover at my friend's house and came back today. In other words I haven't played since thursday night. I've come back and now I'm banned. I did read Joe did some griefing, but I don't think that would mean I should be banned.

Reason you believe you should be unbanned:
I'm unaware of any rules that I have broken. If I have broken a rule, I would like to apologize and be informed of which rule I broke so.

When I came back today I learned my brother had griefed the server and been banned. I also learned that some one(my brother) had posted in my name(I had left it so I stayed logged on). For example, I never posted on this topic(https://oasis-smp.forumotion.com/t2623-joe-greifing#12021) and probably wouldn't have. He also posted in this topic (https://oasis-smp.forumotion.com/t2637-greif-joementsons#12052). If you look at the topic it makes perfect sense for joe to use my account. I am pretty ticked off about this and want to come back to the server.

I must admit at one point I pmed him a suggestion to try tricking a mod into removing some bedrock(that was at the bottom where it should be), but we did not trick any moderators or even attempt to. I regret making this poor decision.

I'm sure most of you don't believe me. I have to admit it sounds ridiculous. But I love this server and have spent a lot of time building here. I hope I get to return.



EDIT:
After a brief discussion with my brother, and some anonymous players I have learned the following:
1. My account was never used in griefing. NEVER. I was banned for my relationship with my brother(hey, it's not like I chose to be his brother).
2. My brother did indeed go on my account friday night and talked with kingnothing. My brother did it on grounds of "trying to prevent me from being banned as well."
I have changed my password and he will most certainly not guess it. If I am re-allowed into this server, he won't be.

I think he should be unbanned. He did nothing, it was all Joe who did the griefing

No midget was involved in the actions with joe i think not.

Really I thought it was only Joe nevermind then I support the ban.

I wasn't online last night. As I said before, I was at my friend's house.

Apparently it must be against the rules to tell me what I did, or I would hope a mod(or admin) would have told me.Because kingnothing won't tell me and says it doesn't matter if it was me on the account, I don't think there's a whole lot I can do.

Know what helps? Don't give anyone your password and don't leave your account up on a shared computer. :D Just a friendly suggestion.

It's safer just to ban him, why take the risk?

A sleepover, at a friends, while someone (unbeknownst to you) has your password and gets on your account and griefs. I'm sorry, but that story sounds eerily similar to a ban appeal I read a while back.

I talked with my brother and a few other people. My account was never used in griefing and was merely banned due to my relation with my older brother. My older brother said he went online with my account friday evening to "try and help me not be banned because of him."

I feel that Kingnothing may have been a bit too quick to judge your character based on what you discussed with your brother about asking bamby to remove bedrock...Though given bamby's recent situation...

I think some things my brother and I discussed via private chat are part of the reason. We discussed tricking a mod into removing bedrock, but we never did that. We discussed griefing matt's house after he knocked 5 floors off our skyscraper and wouldn't give back mats. We never decided to do anything, but I think joe may have later put torches in his house. I was not involved in any way with the torches.

Even though I may have discussed breaking the rules at 2 or 3 times, I never did. I have yet to break any rules and I don't think it's against the rules to discuss breaking the rules. I will admit I shouldn't have discussed these things. Just the act of discussing them makes me suspicious, regardless of my actions. Sadly, I don't think this server can track people's actions as well as it can their words. And I've always thought the way you act and what you do is more defining and valuable than what you say.

If midget didnt actually do anything, I dont think he deserves to be banned.

bump, hoping that some one besides kingnothing(who won't tell me what I did or why I'm banned) will read this.

Look kind sir i do not like it when myself, or any other staff for that matter, is insulted. You are banned and I have reasons to keep you banned, and if you are wondering i am not the one who banned you so dont point fingers at me.

I apologize for insulting you. I'm just kind of frustrated. Why should you keep me banned? Who banned me?

And you continue to dodge my questions. You said there is a good reason to keep me banned. Why can't I know what it is? I've asked you several times. Every time you just ignore me and then wait until I make an insulting comment to respond.

If you truly have a reason to keep me banned, why can't you say it? Is it a secret or something?

its not a democracy if the staff have banned you they have their reasons we dont actually have to tell you
