hey i don't know if i was banned or what, it just says"connection refused". could someone please explain what is happening?

You weren't banned that I know of, try restarting your client. I assume you are on the whitelist? Are you updated to 1.6?

You're not banned, if you were it would tell you that you were banned from the server when you try to log in.

i am white listed and i did restart my client, but it still says connection refused.Any other ideas?

Hmmm, are you 100% sure you haev the correct IP in? no spaces at the end or anything?

Could try re-installing MC...

though if you do this make sure you have anything you want to save out of the MC folder first (so single player saves, Screenshots, Texture packs, stuff like this)
