[PSA] POTENTIAL NETWORK OUTAGE/ISSUES

I've been informed by our server provider that the datacenter that hosts both the Teamspeak and SMP servers will be under maintenance during the first week of August.

Here is the information, directly from our server provider:

Maintenance window for the St. Louis data center & Your Server

We will be performing network maintenance during the overnight hours between Wednesday, August 3rd and Friday, August 5th. The maintenance window is designed to perform critical hardware upgrades. Due to the scope of work to be performed, it is possible that some customers will notice periods of increased network latency and in rare cases brief service interruption.

Maintenance Window Schedule:

August 3rd 10 p.m. - August 4th 4 a.m. CDT

August 4th 10 p.m. - August 5th 4 a.m. CDT

Our technical staff has worked with senior management and consulting engineers to devise the most efficient procedures possible to minimize service disruption. Minimizing impact to our customers is of key importance.

These upgrades are intended to increase network capacity and improve network resiliency.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we perform these highly important upgrades to our critical network infrastructure.

So mad said ts and smp. So would that include the mini and pvp server or are they run by a different provider.

It will include MINI and PVP as well :)

Bumping this thread cuz TS is laggy as shit and I completely forgot there was maintenance this week...

Legit logged into TS console and was all 'wtf why is this shit so slow are we getting DDOS'd?? Then I looked at the CPU and did a bunch of network tests and after at least half an hour I realized I'm a complete idiot ... I forgot I had made this very announcement in the first place..... classic me...

Please keep in mind that we might experience lag or even temporary loss of service during this maintenance period.  It will be done tomorrow morning.
