Post cool pokemon finds or tips for others here!

State your level and best pokemon before posting finds

Ill start off:

Level: 15
Best Pokemon: 1587 Snorlax

Tips:
Once you have a desired pokemon on your nearby list, click on it. Then once you exit the nearby gui, it should show the desired pokemon with the number of steps away it is. While walking, a faint or strong ring will pulse around that box. The stronger the ring, the more correct direction you are traveling. 

Finds:
I hatched two 10k eggs, one of which I got a 900 Aerodactyl, and the other a 210 dratini (Which i evolved into a Dragonair)

Level 15
Best Pokemon: The best one I caught was a level 500ish Nidoking at level 6(!).

Team Instinct (Zapdos is objectively better than the other two birds...)

Zapdos is the best but also I'm not 12 so team mystic

We talkin bout legendary birds? Fam, Articuno ftw. That bird was OP as shit in gen 1. Ice beam for days.

Also Pokemon GO just launched in Canada over the weekend. Getting myself a new phone tommorrow so I can move past ios 7 and actually DO things with it (iphone 4 problems) and Im sure as shit gonna be coming by here later when I have actual information to contribute.

Level: 11 :\
Best Pokemon: doesn't matter, they're all weak

Tips:
- You can hit the same pokespot once every 5-10 minutes. Find a nice spot and camp it if you are low on items. (My college is a spot so I just sit in the library)
- external battery packs are your friends
- If you have a lucky egg, stockpile pidgeys and pidgey candy. Activate the egg and evolve them all for double the xp you'd normally receive on evolution. You can also do this with other pokemon who have low candy requirements for evolution.

Finds:
Squirtle and Pikachus are my friends

Team:
Instinct, so I can just sit here with my incubators, pikachus, and popcorn and watch everyone else fuss and fight. I'm never close enough to a gym to battle, and my pokemon are weak anyway so there's no point. Just collecting mons and setting lures for people to use at stops :\

I kinda favor Zapdos because it looks neat, I had one on leafgreen 12 years ago, and I like electric types, but I was never real crazy about the legendary birds tbh :\

To get a specific evolution of Eevee, rename it! Pyro = Flaereon, Sparky = Jolteon, and Rainer = Vapreon

Level: 24
Team: Mystic
Top Pokemon: 2565cp Dragonite
Tip: Do not power up your pokemon (if you can handle waiting (which I couldn't)) until you are level 30 because that is where the catching level caps (meaning lvl 30 has the highest cp pokemon you can catch so it is a waste to power up the weaker pokemon that you catch at lower levels).

Lmao I'll be lv 30 in a year maybe

Update: Caught a 762 Kadabra on my street, and 14 bulbasaur candies away from a venasaur

Level: 7
Team: MYSTIC FTW
Top Pokemon: CP 279 Raticate

Don't have data so I can only play while connected to wifi. Which means I can walk up and down my street but thats it.

Tips: TAP YOUR POKEBALL IF YOU MISS OMFG I WASTED SO MANY WHEN I STARTED. YOU CAN GET THEM BACK.

Level: 5 (Just released in Canada, dont judge)
Team: Mystic, of course
Best Pokemon: 124 Pigeotto

Tip: Hatching eggs with the ol Poke Walker method does NOT work. (Shaking the device so it thinks youre walking)

Question: Ive been finding random little spots where theres a small white ping for no apparant reason. What are those? Do they do anything? EDIT: I think theyre supposed to be wild Pokemon as they also have that ping. Just looks like they might have glitched out.

Second question: Officially recognized parks are shown in dark green and have more pokemon, right. Is anyone else having the problem where they see the grass but nothing happens when you approach it? ALWAYS happens in parks, Ive tried more than one.

Story (kinda):
Twice, I beat a gym and the moment I beat it i see this random kid putting in his pokemon first, like wtf omg, this happened twice today and once yesterday lol :)

I use tumblr a lot, so I see their updates in my feed every day. I feel it can be useful even for non tumblr users though, and they do have a decent site navigation system set up.

Anyways- updates:
- My pikachu is named KetchupThief
- My Paras's name is CinnamonRoll because he is just too pure for this world
- I really wish Crobat was implemented, hopefully it will be in the future. I have a 500ish cp golbat but Crobat is a fav
- My coworkers keep asking about the game because their children play it and they're all really confused
- Nicknaming is fun

Top Pokémon: 983 Rapidash.

Top 6: CP 591-983

Started shortly after US Launch.

Tips: Save your Candies for higher trainer levels! Your best pokemon now will be weak in just a few more levels and catches. Saving Stardust for lvl 20+ will yield the best results.
Tips: Incubators are a great way to earn Candies, Stardust and usually very strong pokemon for your CP average.
Tips: Eggs will stay the same level as you found them, Even if you hatch them at a much higher lvl! (Pokémon CP is low, Hatch bonus low)

Update: Level 22, Best pokemon : 2106 Dragonite (Caught at my local park, there were about 30 people there at the time)

Level: 16 (almost 17)
Best Pokemon: 900 Pinsir

Tips: Do waste your raspberries when catching high level CP, it's worth it, you get them back eventually anyways

Finds: I got a random Tangela level 780 near my house, for Health it was level 100 LOL, I also got a cubone level 380 from an egg which I love cubones so yay :D, how do y'all get lapras and snorlax? jealous... :(

Use pokevision.com while the foot step counter is broken. It tells you where a poke is and how much longer it'll be there.

I had a venusaur run away from me after I threw 20 balls at it and used a bunch of razzberries.
