Please could you unban me

Hello, my in game username is kprm. I used to play on this server about 2 years ago, I have recently got back in to minecraft and found I am banned from this server. It says the reason for my bad is'vanilla ban' I'm not sure what that is. Please could I possibly be unbanned. I apsolutly love this server and would love to start playing again.
