Hyped For 1.9!

This is looking like a really nice update, tons of new stuff! Can't wait for the release :3

I had a play around, its really fun.

The real best change of course though is glass panes no longer make a stupid cross shape when there is only one! Same for iron bars :D

Did the new enderdragon fight yesterday in survival, it's much better. Gonna miss that fab dragon dance flight though, it's much smoother now. Also there's beacons to loot in the end o.o

Reall? I actually found that quite useful when I wanted to place a pane next to it so I had more than two pixels to place it in. Hard to explain that o.o

Basically it made it easier to place a pane next to it.

Yeah but its easy of building vs look :P If you needed just a tower of them the cross shape looked horrible and messed up a load of designs I was trying :P I would sacrifice the ease of placement for that lol

Trapdoors don't need supporting blocks anymore. They can sit on the ground, hang in midair, anything. They are like, normal blocks.

I like these changes except if for the iron bars around the end crystals. That's gonna make the fight really hard especially with 2 dragons.  And with it being released do soon after 1.8 in kinda hoping ro keep the current map

I'm actually glad we're switching to a harder fight, the ends dragon as of now is too easy, everyone knows how to win. That's probably what I'm most hyped for. :)

I think that if we DO have a map reset, spawn should have more pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns. I havent done the in depth examination I would usually do, but all I could find were 2 pumpkins and that is the very deffinition of inadequate.

 If I happen to be mistaken about the current pumpkin situation, feel free to enlighten me. In fact, if anyone can direct me to some previously unknown pumpkins I will personally get online asap, seek out the pumpkins and frolic amongst them for like, an hour or something.

Well it's basically a left hand. You can swap items and I think you can only use blocks with your right hand or something... And there are shields :3

I remember the old minecraft days. No ender dragon, no creative mode, no hunger, no sprinting, no command blocks, no pistons. Minecraft has gone to a point where I can't even keep up with everything. Though, I can't say I'm not excited for a new update.

I can remember way back to 1.3 (I'm super old right?), the game is changing so much and it's starting to reach the point where it's for the worse, not saying it quite has though. If you ask me they should really from this point on just be working on performance boosts and bug fixes, maybe some nice graphical changes as well.

For those of you who play Pocket Edition the new update for that is looking really nice too.
