help with installing mods for sp

i kinda need help with installing some mods for sp. all i really want is a spawning mod and a fly mod but i have read the instructions for the zombes mod pack and mycraft (but i got the mycraft to download and followed them but it wouldnt launch) and all i really want is to fly and spawn some stuff when i need to. so im asking if someone can help me out im not very good when it comes to downloading mods i can do everything else just can not make heads or tails of the instructions so if someone could just please help me. I dont really like asking for help but i wanna try out the mods.
