Maintenance Adding PvP? Empty Maintenance Adding PvP?

So, I noticed that the server is down for maintenance, and I saw that Pax said that it was preparing the server for PvP world. Does this mean that the server will have PvP when it's back up, or will that  come later? Thanks.
