Question regarding FTB

OK so I think one reason why I was having launcher problems was because I didn't have forge installed even though some mod packs come with forge but the DW20 doesn't so would I just have to manually install forge?

And on the console window it says some packs require a 64 bit when I have a 32 bit and it says to try the Lite Pack 2 or something.

I had a problem with with 32-bit thing, I just uninstalled java 32-bit and downloaded and installed java 64-bit. I don't know anything about the forge thing.

Well my computer is a 32 bit and I'm pretty sure that's just a java 64 bit version download for 64 bit computers I don't think that had anything to do with it.It's just that my operating system is a 32 bit but I would need a 64 bit system to run most mod packs.
