Anyone play Magic the Gathering?

Just wondering if anyone else plays magic. If so maybe we can talk about it, discuss cards, or something. How did you, if you've ever played magic, find out about it?

Me, it was my second semester at college and my good friend david introduced me to it. At that time he ran a vampire deck, and I had purchased a Selesnya starter deck. At first it was rather difficult, but I got better and made more friends. Now I'm a decent... duelest? Magic player? Any who, now days I run mostly mono green decks, mana manipulators, or my 5 color sliver deck.

Also anyone excited for the Khans release? I can't wait for it!

I was borderline into it after my friend start playing it. I played as a mono green player, with a little bit of dark(?). But yeah, that was ages ago, and since then I've fallen off.

I started playing last summer and I love it. I mainly play modern and I'm president of a magic club at my college. 2 times a week about 10-14 of us get together to play and trade, its awesome. I play DredgeVine, B/W tokens, and a mono white equipment deck. They are all modern and I'd say the token deck is the only fully competitive one ready to go.

My brother and a friend of ours may want to make a forum account just to talk about this with you XD They're two of the biggest MTG geeks, man!

Personally, I tried it ages ago. It's good and all, I just don't want to spend that much on cards ^^; May give it a go again since they both have enough cards to build 100s of decks...

Now, I know my brother was introduced to it by our older cousin. He then introduced both me and our friend to it.

Here's my BW token deck that I first started out on about a year ago. It's a shame they released an event deck that is basically my deck :(

I might start playing it(the demo on steam iz be broke),it looks quite interesting.

Right now I'm running a 5 color sliver deck. I used it throughout a few tournaments before Nyx's release.

The deck I'm currently working on is a Kraken, Serpent, and merman deck. It'll be my first time actually working on a blue deck... they're my greatest weaknesss

I run roughly 6 decks... maybe more
Mono Green- Creature feature
Black/white- Exalted (need a few sublime archangels to finish it)
Red/black: Burn/gamble (for giggles)
Blue/red: Scrapped
Green/black: From beyond the grave
Black/green: Working on a gorgon
Green/white: Mana manipulation

I used to have a mean population deck back in the day. It had 2 Parallel lives, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, and 3 advent Wurms, and... well it's been awhile... I ended up scrapping it and giving it to my friend. Though I wish I kept Trostani, Selesnya's voice and the parallel lives. Those cards were simply beautiful. Mainly because with Trostani you could pay 3 mana and poppulate a token. Not only that but when a creature you controlled entered the field you gained life equaled to its toughness. With Parallel lives I could mass produce tokens thus gain a lot of life. I kinda wish I jumped on the thragtusk band wagon too...
