Dude seareously in what series did everyone hate the autobots

I'd rather see new imaginations of the older series, rather then the same recycled episodes. And besides, they kept the main rules of the series. 

Also, this is for the kids that never grew up.

i guess your right but we are turning a show like transformers into Die Hard: With a Vengeance

Well... First of all the first three movies were basically transformers fighting transformers and the humans struggling to keep up and to control the situation. Now I speculate that the timeline that this movie takes place the government has finally reached a point in where they can fight the transformers on their own and instead of working with the autobots they have decided since there is no more foreseen threats to remove the autobots and any other transformer as a liability. And secondly the government usually plays the bad guy in movies with aliens... Well... In any movie for that matter.
