How to install / Use /item with Too many items

This tutorial is for 50+ $ Donators/Veterans
And now you should have TooManyItems working with /item

- How to install Too Many Items / Use /item:
- Download Forge Mod Loader for the current version of minecraft
And download Too Many Items
Save your downloads in a folder or just on your desktop
Open the Forge installer.jar and a window should pop up, select "Install Client" and click OK. This will install forge
Now open minecraft and look in the bottom left corner where it says "Profile:" click that and select "Forge" and launch minecraft.
Close minecraft and go to your .minecraft folder, this should have created a mods folder there.
Open the Mods folder and drag the TooManyItems.jar file into it.
Now launch minecraft and close it again, go back to the .minecraft folder, now you should see a file called "TooManyItems.txt"
Open it and change the following lines in the red box
And now you should have TooManyItems working with /item

Or just Click this link http://www.minecraftinstallers.com/toomanyitems-mod-installer/ , download the correct version, run it, and select the User It Creates in your MC Launcher :3

I couldn't get it to work either, but using Not Enough Items worked fine for me. It's practically the same: the only difference is that you can click look up recipes, and it's allowed on the server :D. I ended up not using it though, because you need forge modloader for it and optifine crashes my game when running it with optifine.

Well, this tutorial is for multiplayer using the /item command, which is part of a bukkit plugin. But this mod automatically uses the give command, so if you just install it normally and skip the part with changing the command in the config file, it should work fine in singleplayer.Dr_Roboto wrote:I cant get to work on singleplayer
