Recommendations?

Ok so, I've been getting really bored with the default resource pack, and was wondering, do guys recommend any good resource packs but preferably like a realistic one? I have one called "Faithful" and a few others, but the Faithful one is just a amped up 35x35 version of the default. So.... Any recommendations?

Conquest is what I use. It's especially neat since it uses 'meta data' textures, which means you can cycle through textures. For example, cobwebs (id 30) has several other textures that make it look different (Cobwebs-the smoke actually moves!).

I like simplicity, So I use the texture pack by the popular redstone machine builder, Disco, Its called oCd

I use the default, but I really like the Shaders mod. I have looked for other resource packs, but all of the ones I liked made it impossible to go mining because it changed the diamond ore or iron ore or something like that to look like something it is not. I also don't really even know how to get mods or resource packs (I got shaders when a friend was over helping me get it). lol  

I use Sphax texturepack and this is what it looks like and I found it at http://6minecraft.net and don't worry this is not a bugged website or anything like that I get all my mods and texturepacks from here.Hope this helps.
