Amazing recipe for scones/pancakes Empty Amazing recipe for scones/pancakes

So while i was on my rafting trip down in Idaho. On wednesday morning we had breakfast, and that breakfast was scones. It sounds not to good but the taste is amazing (to me anyway). 

The recipe goes like this.

Grab english muffins and pancake mix. 

Cut the english muffins in half.

Put a layer of pancake batter over the english muffins.

And fry in vegetable oil until brown.

Final step is to be amazed by the taste. 

Eat them with syrup, butter, or jam.

or all 3 :D  ENJOY

Tried it this evening, (yea somehow i got all those things at my dads house...)

Tasted like ass.
(i don't even know how ass tastes, but if i knew then i'd be pretty sure it tasted like that.)

I know it isnt a scone but what do you want me to call it? Thats what the guide on the salmon river (rafting trip) said they were. anyway. thanks for the schooling of a life time. :3

Technically pancake batter has a lot in common with cake batter. They are very similar. The main difference being the type of flower.
