IDK What To Name This Post (xD)

I am kind of "proud" of the people who got promoted this month.  Most people, when they get promoted, say something like "Thank you, I will try to live up to my *insert rank here* rank! I will be more active and friendly and whatnot."  When people say that, I wonder if it was a good idea to give them the rank.  Want to know why?  Because they shouldn't be changing the way they play just because they got promoted.  They should be as friendly and active as possible before they get that rank also!  I have not heard that from the people who got promoted this month at all!  YAY!

I agree Emerson. You shouldn't change the way you play just because you get a promotion. I normally just say thank you for the promotion and move on. I don't see the need to give a long (so to speak) speech. 

But anyways, Blah Blah, now you heard from a promoted player this month, lol.

You hit the nail on the head my friend. Ranks are important on servers but they should NOT dictate who you are! You can be proud to be your rank and you should be proud of your rank because you have worked to get it in most cases, but you have got that rank for a reason due to your personality or building skills etc, if you got a rank for a reason no need to change yourself because if you are progressing then clearly you're doing something right. This is also why I don't like people who quit because "they never got promoted" or they were "trusted for over a year". A rank is a title which you can be proud of but it should never be more important to you than the server itself and the community!
