Minecraft and Quake 3

So if you people dont know i play Quake 3 arena alot it is one of my favorite games if you ever want to play with me just ask but anyway
I was wondering if i could round up a group of willing people to help build a ctf map for quake 3. Now to do this i want people to build a ctf arena in minecraft because a quake friend of mine said there is a way to select pieces of minecraft worlds and make them into map files for quake and im sure other games as well but quake is cooler.

Anyway i would wait until we update to 1.2 if anyone wants to join this project please leave a reply stating that you want to help build this ctf map. Thanks.
