Hopefully I can benefit by gaining more subs on this server while helping the server gain players :)

Everyone online was ok with it and I'm pretty sure he checked with staff.

Mike has told me that you dont need permission from staff to record anymore, although I might be wrong

You can record, Alvin was just saying that you don't need staff permission anymore, so you're fine. Just make sure everyone online is ok with it. :)

How about I settle this with a statement?

I, madscientist032 (pronounced ZERO thirty two, not "oh" three two) hereby do not give two flying shamalongadingdongs about recording.

Recording and streaming is allowed on Oasis SMP. You no longer require permission from the staff or the Owners.

Hmm was not aware of this new change then again iv been gone for a while

Don't feel bad. I've still been lurking here since I left, this is first "announcement" I've seen on forums regarding recording, soooooo... not your fault for thinking the system was still in place.
If it's been like that for a while, you'd think there'd be a forum thread about it somewhere. Nope. So no wonder the only people who are aware are the handful online at such and such time when staff said something in-game.

On topic: Nice video btw. I normally can't stand minecraft let's plays, but I found this a pleasant way to spend half an hour. Brought back a lot of good feels. Good luck on builds!
