Griefs abound, any idea why?

All I hear about when I log on is "Grief!". This is really getting annoying. Then comes, "Oh you missed it." Me: Missed what?" "The massive grief team". I am just wondering... if we keep this up, will end up banning half the people that play Minecraft. Any idea why people seem to hate our server so much?

"then we will be retarted and grief the server down!"

"get our best griefers to logg on oasis,they have to grief everything!"

I have a theory: Griefers come on our server by chance, mess around, get banned, try to get around the ban via-their other accounts, fail hard again, then rage butthurt to their friends who then log on to have their fun. Those friends then rage to other friends, etc, etc. Griefer domino-effect if you will.
