Rapture 1.0 construction halted

I was going to finish this, but with the update right around the corner, chances are we will start fresh with a new map, so i'll start 1.1 on the new map. Tell me what you guys think! i'd love some tips, or ideas as well!

This is the unfinished warp-point, I ran out of lapis and purple wool, and i needs a tad more decoration.

The upper level barely got anywhere, i ran out of sandstone and money. Anyway, you can come check it out, you go to skyrock, and then go straight until you run off the edge, you'll know when your there.

oh damn, reminds me of the underwater city we had a while back, also in the next map make bigger plots so more people will be attracted to live there and make nice buildings to make the city look better.

Actually, i never finished, there were gonna be about 10+ underwater plots (maybe the same number of upper plots as well), a tree/produce farm, and District 5, the quarantine zone, i.e run down area that is dark enough to spawn mobs and is "sealed" off. it woud be accessible. i would also have a town square with some useful biuldings in it and some pretty ones too. As well as a squid fishing dock. that i keep a secret.

Looking good, but the real Rapture has less lighting, not sure if you wanted copy it very close to the real one, but yes, if you want to, add less lights.

I know what you mean, i was planning on adding a sector like that, the only issue is that it spawns mobs, so that area would be like a closed off area. i want to think of this as rapture in its prime, Anyway, i had trouble thinking of a name lol

It really does remind of the underwater city. I miss it.... and Nova.... and the other older players.

well it wasn't influenced by the underwater city, i've been planning this since before that map lol. We just had the same ideas around that time :P
