Failed to verify username?

I can't get into the server because of that...

Same happened with me, it said it can't verify username, then i closed the page out reopened and it updated yet it still said it failed to verify username closed reopened and it wont quit saying its updating it says it in both launcher and browser.........

Probably some stupid server issue. Also, did anyone else get an update toaday?
