Qprime's Maphouse

Hey all! I've been mapping the server since the day we launched 1.8 with plugins, and it's FINALLY COMPLETE!!!

I'm planning on setting up a town around the maphouse structure, and the warp is up too! /warp maphouse to get there. It's located in a remote plains biome in the northwest, so it's unlikely to have griefer problems. Anyone who wants to can move in, or help me set up the town!

I'll be assembling kits so that players can easily obtain and put together a copy of the map if they want one.

Quick question. About how big is this map? Because last I recall, we've been using those extra large biomes and this seems to include quite a few.

That map is the entire server. It shows an area 20,000 blocks by 20,000 blocks. It contains 110 individual maps, in a 10x11 array, each sub-map shows 2048 by 2048 blocks. A single Pixil on that map, ingame, is a full chunk.


Also, the kits are now ready! Anyone can now come pick up a map at /warp maphouse! I look forward to seeing you all ingame as I move onto other projects.

I love maps! This is the best map-based thing I've ever seen on Oasis!
