banned for a sign

Hello there!
I was banned for some language on a sign that my friend dared me to do...She knew I would get banned because she did it before and since I am new to minecraft, I had no idea.  So, I wrote the sign....I received no warning what so ever that I could get banned from this server. I'm sorry for the language that is on the signs and I swear that I will never let this happen again!
