The 1.7 Update

One question,whe the server updates to 1.7 will the towns in world 2/new world be destroyed or not everybody got me confused when they said that they would be destroyed or not.

Yes, the server is being cleared, to the best of my knowledge.

I dont think its true because before you got on almost everybody said that it was a rumor

Due to new world generation and whatnot, I would have to say we're getting a server reset. The only reason we didn't scrap the 1.5 things was because it wasnt out for very long and because all that was needed was newly generated terrain so horses could spawn. 1.7 has entirely different generation features, so keeping the 1.6 things would simply be a waste of space. Don't believe everything you read in chat. Hell, for all I know, i could just be talking out of my ass, its not like Im Mad or Pax or anything. So yes, reset. Why? World gen. Afterall, it IS the update that changed the world.

Maybe.... it's a surprise.
Like it is every update until we find out how everything goes after a stable version of bukkit is released....

A TON of people keep asking, and I along with some staff and some players keep saying that WE DON'T KNOW FOR 100% sure!   We will never know until it either happens or doesn't happen.  Please, pay attention to the answers you get rather than asking a question and not bothering to listen to the answer.
