Is it possible to get a way to tp horses

I have set up a horse stable in the desert and am selling horses but people live in other biomes and i was wondering if u guys could come up with some way to tp the horses cause iv already lost my best horse forever becuase of this issue b/c the person tried to take it through a portal and it disappeared and i still have not been able to find it. So is it possible to come up with a way so you can tp with your horse?

Iv already cut my losses on the horse i just need to know if there is some way a system can be set up to tp your horse while ur riding it or something

Last I heard pax was working on an animal-lock pluggin that would also allow you to tp horses/passive mobs to a location one time.
